Data Deletion Policy

We, DalonCorp SARL, take the protection of your personal data seriously.

In accordance with applicable regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and requirements from partner platforms, we provide clear and secure mechanisms to request the deletion of your personal data.

1. General Terms for Data Deletion

Any user may exercise their right to request data deletion under:

  • Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
  • The general terms of partner platforms,
  • Ethical principles of data usage in AI and third-party API environments.

2. Deletion via Partner Platforms

a) Facebook / Meta Platforms

When you revoke our app’s access to your Facebook account, a data deletion request may be automatically triggered through the Facebook 'Data Deletion Callback' mechanism.

We process these requests according to the following procedure:

  • User identification via the signed ID provided by Facebook;
  • Deletion or anonymization of the related data;
  • A tracking link and confirmation number are generated and accessible to the user.

b) Google (Play Store / OAuth)

Users can request deletion through:

  • The internal deletion form in our application,
  • Sending a request to the designated email address (see section 4 below).

Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete the data. An explicit request must be made.

c) OpenAI / Mistral API

When using AI models through third-party APIs (OpenAI, Mistral), the processed data is subject to their privacy policies.

No persistent storage of queries or content processed by these APIs is done by our system unless explicitly stated.

We do not use user data to train or retrain any AI models.

3. Available Methods to Request Data Deletion

  • Using the integrated data management interface in our app,
  • Sending a written request to: dpo@ara-oman.com
  • Accessing our dedicated form: https://dalon.osef.cloud:443/delete_account

Please include your email, user ID, and the desired deletion type (full or partial).

4. Confirmation and Tracking

Upon receipt of your request, you will receive:

  • A unique confirmation number,
  • A personalized tracking link,
  • An explanation in case of partial refusal or limited retention.

5. Processing Time

We are committed to processing all requests within 30 days maximum.

In case of exceptional complexity, this period may be extended by an additional 30 days, in accordance with Article 12(3) of the GDPR.

6. Exceptions and Legitimate Retention

Some data may be temporarily retained to:

  • Comply with legal obligations,
  • Ensure the security of the service,
  • Manage a contractual dispute.

In such cases, you will be explicitly informed.
